The use of creative art was amazing for my mother and all the seniors present. As I looked around, all I saw was excitement and energy in the happy faces of everyone. The best part of the event were your young volunteers. The thing that awakens the spirit of seniors is the presence of young people amongst them. The key to the wonderful event my mother and all the seniors had yesterday was the intergenerational experience. They were so respectful and helpful and showed that they really cared about making a difference for the seniors. The only sad part of your event was that it ended. I highly recommend and encourage [this long-term care home] and other long-term care places to take a very close and serious look at your organization, intergenerational music, and all the good that you do for our seniors.
